Assistant/Associate Professor of Family Medicine
The Department of Family Medicine at The Robert Larner, M.D. College of Medicine at The University of Vermont and The University of Vermont Medical Center invites applications for an ABFM board certified family physician. This appointment at the University of Vermont will be at the Assistant/Associate Professor level in the Clinical Scholar Pathway commensurate with experience. Experience in Patient-Centered Medical Homes, continuous quality improvement, and value-based care is advantageous.
Clinical focus and experience in the areas of primary care settings and teaching will be influential in the selection. Priority will be given to applicants who have experience providing family medicine clinical services in an academic rural practice. The selected candidate will join a busy and collegial program. Highlights of this position include:
100% outpatient practice, no OB

Medical student education
Regular precepting and teaching with our fully accredited 6:6:6 residency in their outpatient continuity clinic
Telephone-only call with a 1 in 5 frequency
32 scheduled patient-facing hours per week
UVMMC Berlin is located at Central Vermont Medical Center (CVMC) in Berlin, Vermont. CVMC is a community hospital partner of The University of Vermont Medical Center.
