Assistant Professor of Family Medicine

The Department of Family Medicine and Community Health at the University of Minnesota is currently seeking multiple Assistant Professors to join our internationally renowned department.

The selected candidates will provide clinical instruction to and oversight of residents and medical students in the ambulatory clinic, hospital, and other urban training sites, which serve a culturally, ethnically, and racially diverse patient population.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing didactic instruction (seminars, lectures, workshops, grand rounds)
  • Mentoring and advising residents and medical students
  • Providing patient care at the clinic and hospital in full-scope family medicine, including obstetrics
  • Developing, implementing, and evaluating curriculum
  • Performing administrative duties, including attending faculty meetings, serving on committees, participating in accreditation and other reviews, and representing the program at professional meetings as appropriate
