Assistant Professor of Family Medicine

The Department of Family Medicine at Western University of Health Sciences/College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific (COMP) and COMP-Northwest is seeking two qualified faculty candidates to teach our students through instruction, supervision and role modeling the skills, values, and attitudes necessary to be competent and compassionate osteopathic physicians. The positions are available for the COMP Pomona campus in California, and COMP-Northwest campus in Lebanon, Oregon.

The College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific was started in 1977 as the founding college of Western University of Health Sciences which has grown to 9 post-graduate health related colleges, including osteopathic medicine, dental medicine, veterinary medicine, health sciences (physician assistant & physical therapy), graduate nursing, podiatric medicine, optometry, pharmacy, and biomedical sciences. In 2011, COMP-Northwest opened in Lebanon, Oregon as an additional site campus of COMP in order to educate students from the Northwest, in the Northwest, and for the Northwest. WesternU was recognized in 2016 and 2017 by the Chronicle of Higher Education as one of the great colleges to work for.
