Description: The Department of Family Medicine, University of Washington seeks a full-time family physician with a passion for resident teaching and excellence in patient care. Appointment will be on the clinician teacher track at the assistant professor level.
The position will be based in the residency section. Residency duties will include attending in the clinic and the hospital, as well as teaching and advising residents and participating in residency administrative duties. Other duties may be assigned by the chair.
This clinician is expected to participate in the full-spectrum of clinical practice including obstetrics and inpatient attending. Recent direct practice-based patient care experience in full spectrum family medicine is strongly preferred. Applicants are required to have an MD, DO, or foreign equivalent with current certification by the American Board of Family Medicine.
