DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: TEACHES FAMILY RESIDENTS ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS, IN GROUP SETTINGS INCLUDING DIDACTIC LECTURES, WORKSHOPS, AND SEMINARS ON BEHAVIORAL SCIENCE TOPICS; ASSISTS IN DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION OF A FAMILY MEDICINE BEHAVIORAL SCIENCE CURRICULUM; ASSISTS RESIDENTS IN DEVELOPING SKILLS TO PRACTICE HIGH QUALITY, PATIENT-FOCUSED CARE, ENSURES COMPLIANCE WITH ACGME BEHAVIORAL SCIENCE REQUIREMENTS; PROVIDES CLINICAL SERVICES IN THE OUTPATIENT SETTING INCLUSIVE OF DIAGNOSTIC AND CRISIS ASSESSMENT, PSYCHOLOGICAL EDUCATION AND INTERVENTION; BRIEF FAMILY/INDIVIDUAL INTERVENTIONS, AND HEALTH BEHAVIOR COACHING. The position is EXEMPT from Civil Service. MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK SHIFTS AS NECESSARY BASED ON HOSPITAL OPERATIONS; SERVICES ARE PROVIDED 24/7.
EDUCATION: Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology.
EXPERIENCE: At least one year of experience working as a licensed behavioral psychologist. Experience in doctoral level psychology education or graduate medical education preferred.
LICENSURE: Active Hawaii License to practice psychology.
