Family Medicine Faculty Position 

Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso’s Paul L. Foster School of Medicine seeks to hire family physicians (with and without experience in obstetrics) to join the faculty in the newly created Department of Family Medicine – Transmountain.  

These unique opportunities are designed for dynamic clinicians to be foundational faculty in building a new department, forming a new residency program, and establishing a new clinical practice to include the teaching of medical students. A new up to date medical office building within walking distance from the teaching hospital will house the new program. 

These positions requires an M.D. or D.O. degree, licensed or eligibility for medical licensure in Texas, and successful completion of an approved ACGME family medicine residency program.  A preference will be given to candidates with  board  certification  by  the  American  Board  of  Family  Medicine  and  interest  or  track  record  in academic medicine.
