Associate Program Director (APD)

ProMedica Monroe Regional Hospital, located in southeast Michigan has a unique opportunity for an Associate Program Director (APD) within their Family Medicine Residency Program. As the APD, you will have a leadership role in working with the Program Director of our ACGME accredited Family Medicine Program. The residency is part of the ProMedica Health System which includes an Academic Affiliation with the University of Toledo in Toledo, Ohio. The mission includes caring for the underserved in our office setting as well as clinical rotations to the local Federally Qualified Healthcare Center, and many other ambulatory community settings. The APD works with the Program Director in developing, directing, and managing the Family Medicine Residency Program. The APD position ensures stability of the residency-training program, including compliance with accrediting and regulatory agencies.

Physician must possess an active Michigan license and be a Certificant of the American Board of Family Medicine. A minimum of three years faculty experience is desirable, with experience as an administrator, clinician, and educator within an ACGME accredited Family Medicine Residency Program. Physician must be eligible for successful appointment to ProMedica Monroe Regional Hospital. Physician must have a genuine desire to teach, and leadership experience and excellence in communication skills would be considered essential.
