<p>Acclaim Physician Group, a subsidiary of the JPS Health Network, is seeking an energetic, motivated and engaged Board Certified Family Medicine physician leader who will aide in spearheading the clinical operations&nbsp;of the Acclaim Primary Care&nbsp;Service Line in partnership with members of the JPS Network Executive team.</p> <p>The chosen leader will be an expert in team building, and be responsible for overseeing and managing the Primary Care provider staff in the outpatient setting. The Vice Chief will be an active participant in the development of long and short term plans for the Primary Care Service Line, Acclaim and JPS Network, and will work towards optimizing the practice environment, enhancing quality care coordination, and establishing a series of goals across the continuum of community medicine.</p> <p>JPS&nbsp;treats a predominantly vulnerable complex patient population and offers&nbsp;comprehensive care across 30+ NCQA Level 3 certified Patient Centered Medical Homes (PCMH) and school based clinics throughout Tarrant County. The JPS Family Medicine residency is the largest in the country and speaks to the heart of the Network&rsquo;s academic mission.</p> <p>The Vice Chief will report directly to the Acclaim Service Line Chief of Primary Care who also serves as the Chair of Family Medicine at the TCU and UNTHSC School of Medicine. All Primary Care Service line Medical Directors will report to the Vice Chief.</p> <p>As an expert in clinical practice across the spectrum of care, the Vice Chief of Primary Care Service Line will help lead Acclaim/ JPS Network efforts to create systems that ensure primary care&rsquo;s continuum is complete even for the most complex patients by:</p> <ul> <li>Coordinating and setting expectations/goals with the Chief of Primary Care Service Line in order to optimize the practice environment</li> <li>Being accountable for establishing and meeting local and organizational goals that strive for optional work processes and the highest quality of patient care services.</li> <li>Providing management and collaborative leadership of interdisciplinary patient care services with the primary care setting</li> <li>Acting as first line supervisor to the primary care physicians and Advanced Practice Providers&nbsp; in the primary care service line</li> <li>Monitoring metrics for patient and provider quality and satisfaction. Responsible for providing action plans where needed as suggested by metrics.&nbsp;</li> <li>Functioning as an active provider with clinical responsibilities adjusted due to administrative obligations and the need for access.&nbsp; (30-40% clinical time)</li> <li>Participating as a member, lead, or champion of process improvement teams or leadership committees such as being a DISRIP champion, PCMH accreditation lead, Joint Commission preparation committee, Acclaim Quality Committee.</li> <li>Actively participating in the interviewing, hiring, placement and onboarding of providers.</li> <li>Ensuring appropriate provider workload, support, efficiency, productivity, patient satisfaction, and patient access is met to include institutional benchmarks for clinical care delivery.</li> <li>Helping inpatient and outpatient teams connect; collaborating with Acclaim Inpatient and Outpatient Directors of Population Health</li> <li>Overseeing delegated aspects of the service including budget and fiscal management, human resource management, strategic planning, and program development, assuring that the clinical and administrative functions are integrated in order to provide optimum utilization of the available resources.</li> <li>Taking on additional responsibilities as needed.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Required Education and Experience:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Must have a Doctor of Medicine or Doctor or Osteopathy degree from an approved college of Medicine/Osteopathy</li> <li>Must have a minimum of 5 years of Primary Care experience</li> <li>Must have a minimum of 1 year in a clinical leadership role, 3 or more years is preferred</li> <li>Must be comfortable working in a large public/county facility with a diverse patient population</li> <li>Must be willing to work full time Monday-Friday schedule</li> </ul> <p><strong>Required Licensure/Certification/Specialized Training:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Must be board certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine</li> <li>Must have an active, and unrestricted Texas Medical license, or must be eligible to apply for one.&nbsp; License must be active prior to start date</li> <li>Valid DEA certificate with prescriptive authority</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred Experience:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Excellent interpersonal, collaborative and communication skills</li> <li>Proven leadership skills</li> <li>Embraces and initiates new treatment programs and technologies</li> <li>Effective management and operations experience</li> <li>Experience in physician recruitment and retention</li> </ul> <p><strong>Along with a competitive salary and incentive opportunities, Acclaim provides a comprehensive benefits package that includes:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Generous Allowable Time Off</li> <li>Malpractice Insurance</li> <li>Health, Vision, and Dental Insurance Options</li> <li>Professional Expense Allowance</li> <li>Relocation Allowance for moves of greater than 50 miles</li> <li>Generous Retirement, Opportunities to Access Three Tax Deferred Accounts</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p>
