FAMILY MEDICINE CAREER OPPORTUNITIES
Our fellowship is the longest continuously running, full–time faculty development fellowship in the country; a leading program graduating more fellows than any other full-time program.
We develop Family Medicine physicians to become master teachers, exemplary clinicians, collaborative researchers, and effective leaders. Our fellowship is structured around five core domains (Teaching & Learning, Professional & Leadership Development, Administrative & Management, Research & Scholarship, and Clinical Care) while remaining flexible to meet the goals, needs and interests of each fellow. Degree options available through the University of Pittsburgh.
SELECTED TRACKS AND CURRICULUM OFFERED:
CLINICAL EDUCATOR (CE) – This track allows time to pursue a degree in public health (MPH) or medical education (MME). Master degrees are fully funded.
CLINICAL RESEARCH (CR) – This track leads to a Master of Science (MS) in Clinical Research. Master degrees are fully funded.
GLOBAL HEALTH TRACK – Preparing fellows for global leadership in Family Medicine Education.
INPATIENT MEDICINE FOCUS – Strengthening skills in hospital-based teaching and practice.
