Position Description:

The University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth is seeking a board-certified physician in Family Medicine to become the Program Director for its affiliated Family Medicine Residency.  Our program is ACGME accredited and we are looking for an individual who will continue to grow this strong residency program. 

The Program Director will ensure that the program’s residency requirements and responsibilities are consistent with ACGME standards. Along with resident supervision, the Program Director will engage in the education and mentoring of the residents, along with Graduate Medical Education meetings and trainings. Ambulatory and inpatient care are also a part of this position. The Program Director will have the opportunity to maintain his/her own research program and academic scholarly activity with protected academic time.  The Program Director must have 2 years of experience as core faculty in a family medicine residency program.

Interest and focus on osteopathic principles is preferred, but not required.  Salary and rank are commensurate with qualifications and experience.
