University of Virginia Department of Family Medicine
The Department of Family Medicine at the University of Virginia is leading change in our Health System with team-based care models, patient care quality improvement initiatives and process improvement efforts to increase patient safety and operational efficiency. All clinic sites have received Level 3 NCQA recognition. The department seeks candidates for full-time tenure-ineligible Assistant or Associate professor positions. Rank is dependent upon experience. Incumbents will be responsible for direct patient care, including inpatient and outpatient care, and teaching and supervision of residents and medical students.
Candidates must have an MD and be board-certified or board-eligible by the American Board of Family Medicine or have a DO and be board-certified or board-eligible by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians by start date. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience in obstetrics.
